January 7, 2026 /PRSearchEngine/ — As of 2025, Eric Nelson, Colorado Social Justice Advocate, has been appointed the Vice President At-Large of the Greater Metro Denver Ministerial Alliance (GMDMA Denver). As VP of GMDMA Denver, Eric Nelson brings decades of expertise and experience with boots-on-the-ground community leadership and restorative advocacy across Colorado. Nelson’s 2025 appointment to the role of VP is exemplary of his established commitment to equity, collaboration and community-centered solutions.
Prior to his Vice President At-Large appointment, Eric Nelson served as Vice President of a different sector of GMDMA Denver; where he championed initiatives focused on social equity, mental health awareness, police accountability, homelessness response and environmental justice. As an ordained minister, Nelson approaches community work through a faith-centered lens that emphasizes compassion, accountability and long-term restoration. His ministry is not confined to the pulpit — it is lived out through service, mentorship and sustained engagement with individuals and families navigating hardship, transition and conflict. Faith, for Nelson, serves as both a moral compass and a practical framework for healing, guiding his commitment to dignity, reconciliation and personal transformation.
