BOSTON,MA, Nov. 5, 2018 – Boston-based Urban Planning Consultant Daniel Hewes is proud to announce his commitment to Imagine Boston 2030. In anticipation of Boston’s 400th birthday in 2030, the Imagine Boston 2030 project aims to define the vision of Bostonians across the capital city Massachusetts. Local Urban Planner, Daniel Hewes, supports efforts for the project and hopes to become directly involved with the initiative.

Following suit with his own pursuit of implementing environmentally friendly architecture in the city, he is particularly excited to get involved with Greenovate City of Boston, one of the many efforts and departments associated with Imagine Boston 2030. Other departments involved in the initiative include: Age Friendly Boston, Boston Creates, Boston Open Space and Recreation Plan, Dot Ave SPA, Dudley Square SPA, Economic Equity Agenda, Glover’s Corner SPA and many more. The project strives to offer Bostonians with a tangible roadmap for Boston’s 400th year in 2030. A proud Bostonian himself, Hewes looks forward to the potential of the project. Imagine Boston 2030 aims to impact Boston’s transformation in a positive and productive manner, an idea that Daniel Hewes fully supports.

Core goals of Imagine Boston 2030 include: accessibility, economic growth, a healthy environment and adaptation to climate change, as well as investments in infrastructure, open space and culture. In particular, Daniel Hewes is excited to involve himself with the efforts supporting a healthy environment. Known for incorporating environmentally friendly and ‘green’ techniques in his own architectural proposals, this angle sticks out to him as a necessary innovation. He is proud to involve his urban planning consulting company in the age of Imagine Boston 2030 because he believes that the new proposals will strive to strengthen the city’s environmental health for years to come.
